The offline layers upload nothing

Local cache, offline dictionaries, translation memory, offline models, variant conversion — all five happen on your machine. Your text doesn't leave the computer. They keep working with the network unplugged, which is the proof.

Only AI translation goes out

A sentence is sent only when the first four layers can't handle it. What goes out is that passage, used to produce the translation; we don't train models on it and don't sell it on. Results are labelled with the layer that produced them, so you can see which content left the machine.

Your text isn't in the logs

Diagnostic logs record error types, provider names, timings. Source and translated text are never written to them, and neither are API keys, tokens or proxy credentials. “Export diagnostics” gives you exactly that redacted bundle, and you can read it before deciding whether to send it.

Keys aren't kept on your machine

AI translation is provided by the server; the app stores no API keys. A lost laptop or a rummaged backup can't take keys with it.

Local data is yours

History, translation memory, glossaries and word lists live in a local database you can export or wipe at any time. We don't do cloud sync — moving to a new machine is a manual export and import, and that's deliberate: nothing uploaded means nothing to leak.

About accounts

• Registration needs an email address, for verification codes and password recovery.
• Once installed and signed in, we record device details: OS version, app version, interface language, IP address and browser identifier. They're used to diagnose platform-specific problems and to see what people run it on — not for advertising, and never shared with third parties.
• Usage records character counts and request counts, never content.
• Payments are handled by Stripe; our servers never see your card number.
• Deleting your account removes account data. The memory on your own machine was never ours to begin with.
